關於千層沙拉蛋糕 About Layered Salad
Salads play a significant role in many former Soviet countries. There are over a hundred different types of salads, and the varieties continue to expand. If a table is filled with various salads, especially layered ones, it signifies a good day or a celebration.
Although all these dishes are referred to as “salads,” the mental image they evoke can be quite different. In many cases, salads are hearty main courses. The process of making them varies from simple to intricate, with every small detail as delicate as baking a cake.
春之沙拉蛋糕(銀荊花千層沙拉)|About Salad Mimoza(Мимоза)
銀荊花千層沙拉是一道色彩鮮豔的沙拉,1970年代首次在蘇聯人民的餐桌上出現。金黃色的碎蛋黃撒在乳白色的沙拉上,就像初春時銀荊鮮黃的小花飄落在白雪上一樣。因此這道沙拉被稱為「銀荊花千層沙拉」(銀荊屬、含羞草科:Mimosa)。
這道沙拉豐富多層,口感濃郁,以蛋、洋蔥、魚和俄式美乃滋為主要材料。自蘇聯時代開始,它就成為節慶中非常受歡迎的菜餚。現在,除了在許多前蘇聯國家,它還可以在瑞典等地看到一些創新加入了水果的版本。

Mimoza Salad is a vibrant dish that first appeared on the dining tables of Soviet people in the 1970s. The golden yellow egg yolks are sprinkled over the creamy white salad, resembling the bright yellow blossoms of the mimosa tree that fall like snowflakes in early spring. This salad is thus named “Salad Mimoza” (Mimosa genus, Fabaceae family).
This salad is rich and multi-layered, with a rich flavor profile. Its primary ingredients include eggs, onions, fish, and Russian-style mayonnaise. Since the Soviet era, it has been a popular dish during festivities. Today, in addition to many former Soviet countries, innovative versions with added fruits can be found in places like Sweden.
Beyond its delightful taste, the Mimoza Salad is also known for its visually appealing presentation. Various creative shapes can be formed based on personal preferences and creativity, such as cake-shaped designs. In any setting, this salad remains an impressive delicacy, offering a colorful and joyful addition to celebrations or gatherings.

來自西伯利亞的Anna,跟著媽媽和烏克蘭奶奶一起從小烹飪,煮出一手美味又道地的家庭料理,喜歡用美食帶大家認識世界不同的一面。
已有數年在YK和坊間大學多次舉辦異國料理工作坊的經驗,廣受學生喜愛,曾經在台北科技大學、淡江大學俄文系、基金會開設過課程,並受邀上知名廚藝節目「廚娘香Q秀」。
Anna from Siberia grew up cooking with her mother and Ukrainian grandmother, mastering delicious and authentic family recipes. She enjoys using food to introduce people to different aspects of the world.
With several years of experience conducting international cooking workshops at YK and various universities, Anna has been well-loved by students. She has taught courses at Taipei University of Technology, Tamkang University’s Russian Department, and foundation programs. Additionally, she was invited to appear on the popular cooking show “Kitchen Queen’s Fragrant & Q Show.”
