2024【仁寶電腦】族群共融：從哥倫比亞繪畫探索多元族群共存之道

為社會的進步盡一份心力，共同創造多元、共融的台灣社會，一直都是YK CLUB的活動主旨，最近去大專院校和企業辦了很多有意義的異國文化活動，很開心看到企業學校願意投入這個議題

這次，YK CLUB來到全球科技100強的仁寶電腦，跨足到科技業，特別令人振奮，他們對課程內容的嚴謹態度讓我們佩服。過去，我們一直擔心議題過於深入，因此常以輕鬆的主題為主軸，再偷偷帶入一些深入的話題，比例大概是7(輕鬆)：3(知識)；但這次仁寶電腦的人員，希望我們改變比例，提供更多的知識，變成7(知識)：3(輕鬆)，這讓我們感到非常振奮！因為終於有機會更深入探討國家和族群問題

哥倫比亞是一個多元族群色彩極度豐富的國家！我們一直通過繪畫來傳達這一點，而這次我們更深入了解當地多元種族可能遇到的隱形問題，探討當地少數族群面臨的挑戰，以及身為潛意識優越族群，可以做些什麼去促成更和諧的社會

進一步地，我們探討了新住民身為「少數族群」在台灣可能遇到的問題，由身為新住民的Catalina來分享自己的經驗，像是感是到部分台灣人對待白人和東南亞人明顯的差異，或是對外表的評論等等，提醒這些無意識的行為都可能讓人感到不舒服，我們一起深入探討這些議題，也聽取學員們認真地發表想法，最後再以輕鬆的繪畫做結尾

重點是，科技公司的各位也太會畫畫了吧！

希望每位仁寶電腦的同仁都有得到一些新的想法，並且開心的體驗哥倫比亞色彩無國界的自由創作

Making a Contribution to Social Progress: Creating a Diverse and Inclusive Society

Our mission has always been to contribute to social progress and create a diverse, inclusive, and peaceful society. Recently, we’ve organized numerous meaningful cultural activities at universities, high schools, and non-profit organizations, and it’s heartening to see both companies and schools investing in this important topic.

This time, YK CLUB collaborated with Compal Electronics, one of the world’s top 100 technology companies. Stepping into the tech industry is particularly exciting, and their rigorous approach to course content has deeply impressed us.

In the past, we were concerned that our topics might be too deep, so we often focused on light-hearted themes, gently adding deeper topics in a ratio of 7 (fun) to 3 (information). However, this time, the team at Compal Electronics requested that we reverse this ratio, providing more knowledge at a 7 (knowledge) to 3 (light-hearted) ratio. This was incredibly exciting for us, as it provided an opportunity to delve deeper into national and ethnic issues.

Colombia is a country full of diverse cultures! We’ve always shown this through painting, but this time, we looked at hidden problems that different ethnic groups might face. We studied the challenges local minority groups deal with and talked about how those with unnoticed advantages can do to create a more harmonious society.

Additionally, we discussed the issues that new immigrants, as a minority group, might face in Taiwan. Catalina, a new immigrant herself, shared her experiences, highlighting noticeable differences in how some Taiwanese people treat white and Southeast Asian individuals, as well as comments on appearance. These unconscious behaviors can make people uncomfortable, and it’s important to bring awareness to them.

After fully exploring these topics and hearing everyone’s thoughtful ideas, we ended with a fun painting session. The best part was discovering the amazing artistic talents of the people at the tech company!

We hope everyone at Compal Electronics gained new views and enjoyed the fun of exploring Colombia’s lively and open art.

We also hope to have the opportunity to share this topic on a larger scale and welcome invitations from any company looking to promote inclusion and diversity!
