關於坦尚尼亞

Tanzania, located in East Africa, is a hidden gem on the African continent. This country boasts breathtaking natural landscapes, including Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, and one of the world’s largest lakes, Lake Victoria. Tanzania is also a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, with natural reserves like the Serengeti, Selous Game Reserve, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Furthermore, Tanzania boasts rich cultural diversity, with dozens of ethnic groups and over a hundred languages spoken. Despite its abundant natural and cultural treasures, Tanzania has a lower international profile compared to its neighbor, Kenya, with locals humorously attributing it to being “shy.”

來自吉力馬札羅區(Kilimanjaro)的特色菜——大蕉椰汁燉肉濃湯,當地人稱之為「machalali」。這道料理充分利用了坦尚尼亞當地豐富的食材,包括大蕉以及坦尚尼亞獨特的番茄和沿海區隨處可見的椰子。濃湯的味道美味、健康,還充滿蛋白質,是攀登山區的理想能量來源,也是產後母親哺乳的滋補佳品。

我們的體驗製作活動著重於「與當地人或主講者的交流」,以及「大家一起準備餐桌的氛圍」。
就像和當地人一起在家中準備當天的晚餐一樣,每個人會分工準備,但我們並「不特別強調料理的學習」。
這與專業料理課程有所不同,專業課程更注重教導料理的製作技巧。如果您對學習如何製作異國料理有興趣,我們也有其他的料理課程供您選擇,或者您也可以隨時與我們聯絡!
What’s the difference between “Hands-on Experience” and a “Professional Cooking Class”?
In our hands-on experience events, the focus is on “interacting with local people or instructors” and creating a warm atmosphere of “preparing the table together.”
It’s similar to preparing a dinner with locals in their homes, where each person has different tasks, but we “do not specifically emphasize learning cooking skills.”
This is different from a professional cooking class, which places more emphasis on teaching the techniques of cooking. If you are interested in learning how to cook international cuisine, we have other cooking classes available for you to choose from, or you can always contact us anytime!”
體驗製作活動主要著重於讓參與者深入體驗當地文化,品嚐特色的異國美食。因此,現場並沒有像專業料理課程那樣的專業廚房,還請見諒。
The experiential cooking activity focuses primarily on providing participants with an immersive experience of local culture and the taste of unique international cuisines. Therefore, please understand that the venue does not have a professional kitchen like in a culinary course.
我們的活動主要旨在讓大家嚐到台灣罕見或難以品味到的異國料理。由於這些異國料理所需的食材通常價格較高,我們將提供適量的份量,以讓您能夠充分體驗這些特別的美食。然而,無法保證每位參加者都能吃得飽,請您諒解這一點。我們期待您能享受這次獨特的美食體驗。
Our event is primarily aimed at allowing everyone to taste rare or hard-to-find foreign cuisines in Taiwan. Since the ingredients used in these foreign dishes are typically higher in cost, we will provide an appropriate portion size to ensure that you can fully experience these special delicacies. However, we cannot guarantee that every participant will be able to eat to their full satisfaction, and we ask for your understanding in this regard. We look forward to you enjoying this unique culinary experience.

Katie is from Tanzania, who started learning cooking at a young age within her family, often preparing delicious meals for her large household. She specializes in crafting authentic Tanzanian cuisine, mastering a wide range of dishes with ease.
